Product Description
STEINEL HF 360 COM1 is a professional high-frequency presence detector for automatic indoor lighting control. Its white square housing is intended for ceiling mounting with concealed wiring. It suits stairwells, ancillary spaces and washrooms where movement around lightweight partitions needs to be considered.
Detection suited to the room
360° HF sensing detects movement independently of ambient temperature and can work through glass, wood and lightweight partitions. The detection diameter adjusts from approximately 1 to 12 m. Shrouds can restrict selected directions when an adjacent area should not activate the lighting. These adjustments help match detection to the intended room boundaries.
Control for everyday use
DIP switches and rotary controls select automatic or semi-automatic operation, the ambient-light threshold and switch-off delay. IQ mode adapts the lighting period to usage patterns. An external button or switch provides manual control, and optional remotes offer another way to change settings. This flexibility is useful in rooms whose daily occupancy varies.
Planning the installation
The COM1 output switches one lighting circuit on and off; wired links support master/slave or multiple-master operation. This IP20 model is intended for dry indoor locations and a mounting height of 2.5 to 3.5 m. An appropriate surface-mounting adapter is available separately. The connected load type and LED driver inrush current must be considered when planning the circuit. Article 002800 carries a five-year manufacturer’s warranty.
